Who Yggdrasil is today

Yggdrasil is a Malta-based iGaming studio and technology provider. It develops its own slot catalogue and gives partner studios tools to create, distribute, and optimize games. That combined role makes Yggdrasil both a studio and a platform provider.

Technology and partner products

Game in a Box brings the main stages of slot production into one development environment. Studio in a Box adds infrastructure and support for launching a studio, while Source is the client platform for games, tools, assets, and performance information. Yggdrasil also licenses named Game Engagement Mechanics, or GEMs, that can appear across its own and partner releases.

Games and attribution

The current official portfolio combines Yggdrasil-developed games with releases from its Masters partners. Recurring mechanics such as DoubleMax and MultiMax may connect several titles without establishing the same developer for all of them. Casino Context records the underlying partner studio when it is disclosed and uses Yggdrasil for its own releases, platform relationship, and proprietary mechanics.
