PlayFame Payments & Purchases
Accepted payment methods, costs, processing expectations, and what to do when a transaction fails.
What a purchase provides
A purchase licenses additional Gold Coins for use on PlayFame. Terms v2.5 say a purchase may also increase game variety or remove advertisements. It does not buy an ownership interest in the coins and does not create a right to cash, transfer or reimbursement.
No purchase is required to create an account or play. PlayFame says additional free virtual coins or free-to-play access remain available when a balance is depleted.
Visible first-purchase prices
The July 29 first-purchase screen ranges from $9.99 to $129.99. The three visible packages attach 25, 35 or 200 free SC to 50,000, 70,000 or 500,000 GC respectively. The $15.99 and $129.99 packages also advertise 10 or 200 free SC spins.
The screen labels live chat access and exclusive GC games as benefits on all packages. That presentation makes the practical account experience partly purchase-dependent even though registration and play do not require payment.
Payment ownership and billing
Gold Coin purchases are billed in U.S. dollars. The name on the payment method must match the registered account name, and purchases may not come from a business or corporate account.
PlayFame says a successful purchase generates an on-screen confirmation and an email confirmation. Save both. A chargeback can suspend the account and create a claimed debt to the company.
Final sales and expiring balances
Gold Coin purchases are final under the current Terms. PlayFame does not promise refunds when an account is suspended, terminated or closed, or when the service is no longer available.
Virtual Coin balances expire after 60 consecutive days without gameplay. That rule makes large purchases particularly difficult to justify for occasional players.
