PlayFame Prize Redemptions

From collected SC to qualifying SC

SC collected through registration, daily claims, social promotions, referrals, postal requests or Gold Coin purchase bonuses is not immediately eligible for redemption. It must be played at least once in an SC game. SC won through that gameplay may then count toward a prize request.

Gift cards start at 10 qualifying SC. Cash starts at 75 qualifying SC, with the rules mapping each qualifying SC selected for redemption to a $1 prize value. A minimum balance alone does not establish approval because eligibility and the winning play remain subject to verification.

Timing, limits and destination

PlayFame processes no more than one prize request every 48 hours and says payment may take up to 10 days. Requests over $2,500 may take longer and may be split. A daily $10,000 redemption limit applies at the sponsor’s discretion.

Cash prizes generally go to a bank account held in the verified player’s name. PlayFame may instead issue a check or use another method. Joint accounts can trigger additional verification of the other account holder.

Florida residents face a $5,000 maximum prize per spin or play round. The rules say any excess above that amount is not redeemed.

Terms language remains inconsistent

The specific Sweepstakes Rules establish the prize process, but Terms section 2.4 broadly calls all virtual coins non-redeemable and without cash value. Read together, SC does not itself function as money; qualifying SC can support a request for a separately approved prize.

That interpretation follows the specific redemption provisions, but the wording remains needlessly ambiguous. Save the current Terms, Sweepstakes Rules, welcome screen and request confirmation in case PlayFame later applies the broader clause differently.
