From Scientific Games to Light & Wonder
Scientific Games Corporation announced the Light & Wonder identity in March 2022 as it divested its lottery and sports-betting businesses and focused on games. The legal name change to Light & Wonder, Inc. followed in April 2022. The sold lottery business retained the Scientific Games name, so the two names should not be treated as interchangeable current providers. The official rebrand announcement explains the split.
