When HelloMillions requires verification
HelloMillions can request verification during registration, a purchase, an account change, promotion review, fraud investigation, geolocation check, or redemption. Complete the process before building a large SC balance or asking a friend to make qualifying referral purchases.
Identity, address, and source-of-funds documents
Prepare a HelloMillions verification submission
- Use an unexpired government-issued photo ID.
- Show the full document with clear text and no glare.
- Match the legal name, birth date, and address on the account.
- Provide a current qualifying proof of address when requested.
- Use only the secure upload path identified by HelloMillions.
HelloMillions may collect identifiers, ID, financial information, payment screenshots, proof of address, proof of wealth or source of funds, device fingerprints, precise GPS location with consent, photos, selfies, and biometric faceprints under its Privacy Policy. Rules version 1.9 also permits SSN validation before redemption.
Payment and geolocation verification
Payment evidence can be requested to show that a card, bank account, or wallet belongs to the account holder. Location checks can use IP, device, and precise GPS signals to confirm current physical presence.
Biometric data and retention
HelloMillions may use facial geometry or faceprints for identity verification and fraud prevention. Biometric and other sensitive information can be kept as necessary or for up to three years after the last interaction, unless a longer legal obligation applies.
If a verification upload is rejected
- Save the exact error or rejection reason.
- Check expiry, edges, glare, file type, size, and profile matching.
- Retry once from another supported browser if the failure is technical.
- Ask support for the specific mismatch and corrective action.
