A Gold Coin package does not always include Stake Cash
Gold Coins are entertainment currency with no prize value and cannot be converted into Stake Cash. Specially marked packages may include free SC, but current Help Center guidance also documents Gold Coin-only packages. The checkout summary is therefore the controlling place to see what a package actually includes.
Stake.us supports conventional fiat methods and cryptocurrency methods subject to account eligibility. Payment credentials may be stored, and the payment instrument must belong to the verified account holder. A mismatched name can lead to ownership checks or a blocked transaction.
Purchase method locks the redemption route
A fiat Gold Coin purchase requires Stake Cash redemption through fiat. A cryptocurrency Gold Coin purchase requires Stake Cash redemption through the same cryptocurrency. Bank transfer also requires a successful card purchase, while cryptocurrency redemption may remain available without that card history if the account meets the minimum and fee.
The account can select a different route for future purchases and redemptions only after the Stake Cash balance reaches zero. This makes the first purchase method a longer-term account decision, not simply a checkout preference.
