Restricted U.S. states
KingPrize excludes California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee and Washington under its current restricted-states notice.
The same list appears in the June 2026 Sweepstakes Rules and current platform restrictions. KingPrize blocks access to its services from those states rather than offering a separate Gold Coin-only registration route.
Age and residence requirements
KingPrize requires each participant to be a legal U.S. resident who has reached the age of majority in the relevant jurisdiction, with an absolute minimum of 18. Registration details must match government identification and the participant must use their actual identity.
The Terms use a broad statement that most regions require age 21, while the Rules and public product use 18 or the higher local age. The higher applicable requirement controls when state law or another binding rule sets an age above 18.
Location and account checks
KingPrize can check residence, physical location, identity and payment ownership. VPNs, proxies and other location-masking methods can lead to restriction or closure. Travel into a blocked state can temporarily remove eligibility even when an account was created elsewhere.
Check eligibility before collecting SC
- Confirm the current restricted-state list
- Use a residential address that matches identity records
- Disable VPNs and location-masking tools
- Recover an existing account instead of opening another
- Stop promotional play while physically located in a blocked state
