When McLuck requires verification
McLuck can request verification at registration or later during a purchase, account change, promotion, fraud review, or prize redemption. Complete verification before building a large redeemable balance.
Prepare a McLuck verification submission
- Use an unexpired original government-issued ID.
- Show all four corners and avoid blur or glare.
- Match the account name, birth date, and current address exactly.
- Use a qualifying bill or bank statement dated within 90 days.
- Follow only the secure upload instructions provided by McLuck.
Documents accepted by McLuck
McLuck accepts a passport, driver’s license, national ID, residence permit, or Certificate of Status ID and asks for a selfie, according to its verification help. Sweepstakes Rules version 1.9 also permits biometric facial recognition, proof of address, and SSN validation. The Terms allow proof of wealth or source of funds.
Payment-method verification
McLuck may request proof that a card, bank account, Apple Pay, Apple Cash, Google Pay, or other method belongs to you. The payment name must match the account, and cash prizes normally go to a bank account held in the customer’s name under Rules version 1.9.
If an upload is rejected
- Read and save the exact rejection or upload message.
- Check expiry, all four corners, glare, file type, size, and account-detail matching.
- Retry once from another supported browser if the failure is technical.
- Ask support to identify the specific mismatch instead of resubmitting the same file repeatedly.
Escalating a verification problem
Check
- Document validity, account-detail matching, address date, image quality, and upload requirements.
Collect
- Account ID, document type, submission time, device, browser, file type, and rejection message.

How McLuck handles identity information
McLuck and its vendors may collect ID documents, selfies, face geometry, location, and financial evidence for verification, fraud prevention, payments, security, and compliance under its Privacy Policy. Biometric data is retained as long as needed or until three years after the last interaction, unless another obligation requires longer.
