Jokio Verification & KYC
What identity checks require, how long they may take, and how to resolve common document problems.
Timing
Before deposits, wagering, or withdrawals
Core checks
Identity, age, address, payment, location
Additional data
SSN or tax ID and biometric information where required
Regulatory retention
At least ten years for specified AmWest records
When verification occurs
Jokio can verify at account opening and repeat checks during deposits, wagers, withdrawals, account changes, fraud review, or regulatory review. Functionality, including withdrawals, can be restricted while a check remains incomplete.
Documents and information Jokio may request
Jokio may request identity documentation, address verification, date of birth, SSN or another tax identifier, and payment-method verification. An identity vendor may also process facial geometry, liveness templates, or other biometric identifiers after identifying itself at collection.
Geolocation and exclusion checks
Jokio may combine identity and location data with fraud, anti-money-laundering, sanctions, and self-exclusion screening. False, incomplete, synthetic, or deceptive identity information can cause immediate restriction or termination.
Privacy and retention
AmWest may retain KYC and AML history, wager logs, funding and withdrawal records, account ledgers, and responsible-play records for at least ten years after termination where required. A privacy deletion request does not override mandatory regulatory retention.
Rejected or delayed verification
Ask for the failed field, acceptable document type, freshness and image requirements, secure resubmission route, current account restriction, and expected next review. Keep every response in one ticket.
